About djembefola!

Inspired by Master Djembeföla, Mamady Keïta, and created for students and enthusiasts globally, djembeföla! is a comprehensive West African drumming application currently leading the market.

Explore a wide array of traditional rhythms, each featuring djembe and dunun parts. Utilize sorting options like Region, Ethnic Group, Cultural Purpose, and more.

By hitting play and following the djembe signal, your selected rhythm plays continuously with each beat visually marked by a cursor. With master tempo and volume controls, individual volume sliders, and mute buttons for each part (including the dunun bells), djembefola! offers extensive customization. The Signal Repeat selector allows you to listen to the signal repeat and select from various intervals.

Tap the 'i' (info) button for detailed information about the rhythm, including essential details crucial for preserving West African drumming culture.

Choose to practice individually using headphones or play as a group through a home stereo or PA system via WiFi or Bluetooth.

By using the sorting function 'LEVELS,' djembeföla! uniquely aligns with TamTam Mandingue Djembe Academy's certification curriculum. Equipped with links to TTMDA and ClubTTM, djembefola! is an invaluable tool to support your TTMDA certification journey.

In-app purchases enable you to progress at your own pace – start with the Beginner Levels Module and then venture into the Intermediate and Advanced Modules. Additionally, there is a Dununba Rhythms Module containing fifteen Dununba Rhythms, with future modules set to introduce original rhythms by Mamady Keïta.
